Kevin Weinheimer is third generation in the family floor covering business. A floor covering and textile expert, his work experience includes carpet, hard surface, upholstery & drapery cleaning and maintenance, senior repair technician, color blending technician, installation, and disaster restoration. He is an expert floor covering inspector, senior technician and technical advisor.
Through several years of specialized on the job training and as an Advanced Flooring Specialists and FCITS Certified Inspector, he has received in depth training in cleaning chemistry, fiber technology, color blending, carpet construction, stain resistant cleaning, fiber care, carpet installation and laminate floor covering, residential and commercial inspecting.
Kevin is an avid reader, and routinely reviews industry literature in search of new or better ways of providing fiber care and corrective services to our clients. With Terry, he co-author The Carpet Inspector’s Handbook.
As a regular participant in industry workshops, seminars, and training courses, he continues to learn and to teach the latest techniques available in the ever-changing floor covering and textile industry. Kevin is certified as an inspector for carpet, resilient and laminate flooring
Co-author with Terry Weinheimer, Carpet Inspectors Handbook, a widely used industry textbook of over 400 pages.
